Interest rates: In short, if you are paying ridiculously high interest rates in order to log travel rewards then you are not really getting any deals at all. Multiple rewards and benefits: In addition to free plane tickets, are you offered any discount deals on hotels, car rentals and dining? If the travel card offers a host of benefits that ultimately save the customer a ton of money then the card shoots right to the top of the list of being the best travel reward credit card.

Of course, there are a number of other criteria that can be offered in order to define what the best travel reward credit card is as different customers will have different wants. However, if the three aforementioned benefits are provided the card is at the very least a solid rewards card.
